Forum posts -- some don't word wrap
Hi:
In some (most?) of the forum posts I'm reading, the text doesn't wrap in the window I've got open. This makes me have to go to full screen mode to read some of the posts, as opposed to simply having the text adjust itself to the size of the window I've got open.
Is there some setting I need to use to change this behavior?
TIA

Roy,
800 width is a standard I've used as a Web Developer for the past 9 years and in many different settings. I personally do surf with my window fully expanded. I didn't used to when I used Internet Explorer. Since moving to Firefox I am able to use tabs rather than separate windows and navigate between them much more easily.
I'm afraid the impact on resources it would take to alter the minimum width of our forum is not economical at this time. I would recommend upgrading your browser to IE 7 or perhaps trying Firefox. Both support tab browsing.
Thank you,
Scott

I shrank it to show you the problem.
I'm running 1152 x 864 and have a huge monitor. It can't possibly be that you have a minimum horizontal dimension of 800 pix, can it? No wonder there's no wrap. Are you running your window full open all the time?

Roy,
I measure your example window to be 575 pixels wide which is below our minimum requirement of 800. Is that the size of window you normally surf with or did you shrink it just for this example? If so,
What is the resolution on your display? Do you have this issue with any other sites? Any example URL's you can pass along?
Thanks,
Scott

You're looking at the input window for forum posts, not the posts themselves. I'm referring to browsing the forum, reading the posts.
Here's an example (admittedly extreme) for this thread itself:

Roy,
I wish I could replicate the issue so I could help find a solution. The image below is a screenshot I took using IE6. If you would like to take a screenshot of what you see on your end you can download a very handy, free tool to help. FastStone Screen Capture

I'm using IE 6 SP2. Viewing this post itself, it doesn't word wrap.
Actually, randomly checking the posts in this forum, none of them word wrap.

Re: Forum posts -- some don't word wrap
Roy,
Remind me again what browser you're using. Also, could you send me a screenshot and the url of an example page?
I'm not having this problem myself but with those details I try to find a solution for you.
