I tried to start SS from my desktop and received a message I've never received before and didn't know how to fix it. Please see the attached screenshot from my desktop. Thanks in advance for your help!
The problem I see there is the ss.properties file is 0 KB. There should be one in your backup directory there. See if you can take the newest backup and copy it to this directory.

Same Write Access Error message...
I did as you suggested but I still receive the same error message.
Fixed-it
The db folder did not have the ss data file. I copied it from the backup and placed it in the db folder. Thanks!
