Web Interface doesnt work

Hi Guys,

I noticed that, from time to time after i reset server in linux GUI-less my Web Interface doesnt work at all, is displaying just a white page or (have no clue why) Access denied.
Any ideas where might be a problem?

by reset server i mean,

by reset server i mean, reboot in linux and also ./server stop ./server start
im using ss enterprise 5.5.8a

Radek, Are you able to make

Radek,

Are you able to make the web interface work again? In other words, do you, perhaps, restart the server one more time and then you can load it in your browser? Does it work after you restart your browser (even if you don't restart the server a second time)? Does it work when you hold down shift while clicking the refresh button in your browser?

It sounds like it may be a caching issue within your browser. However, that doesn't account for the access denied message you're seeing.

Is there a clear path you can tell me to follow that will cause this problem every time? Since we have not seen this on our end we would need a way to reproduce it in order to find a fix for it.

Any help you can give is appreciated.

hi Scott,

apparently white page disappeared after one day and started as a normal web interface, but i have still issue with access denied, i added correctly IP addresses, im running server as an administrator.
few weeks ago i had similar situation but after few linux server resets, and after few restarting screen scraper server this problem gone.
unfortunately this time looks like the problem is staying with me longer :)
the weird is, because screen scraper server is still working correct.

I just installed screen scraper from beginning and everything is working fine, dont know what was the problem, but now hopefully i wont have these issues anymore

Radek, What do you mean by

Radek,

What do you mean by "reset server"? What are you doing to reset the server?

Also, what version of screen-scraper are you using and what web browser are you using to view the Web Interface?
