Sorry, the EXPORT failed. Default character set selected under the setting dialog box is invalid.

I am unable to export either of the scraping sessions I created. When I try, it issues te message 'Sorry, the export failed. This is most likely because the default character set you've selected under the "Settings" dialog box is invalid.'

I tried every character set and export still doesn't work. How can I export my scraping sessions?

I suspect you're using

I suspect you're using version 4.5. If you update to the newest alpha version, it should remedy this.

Exporting OK

Thanks, that did the trick. I went to Settings, and checked "Allow upgrading to unstable versions", then upgraded to version 4.5.31a. Afterward I was able to export scraping sessions.

One exception: Exporting one of the scraing sessions failed with the message "The character ' ' is an invalid character". (That problem is described in another post.)
