I´m about to upgrade Screen Scraper from v.6 to v.7 but I have some doubts:

1) I´m going to make a whole new clean installation, my current license will work for the new version?
2) Is there a way to keep both versions at the same time in one computer? if so, my license will work for both versions or only with one of them?

I am trying to scrape the site which has https secure locket and I am facing input/output error.
I want to export the excel file, first login into the site and after that click on the "Ashley online catalog" link which is on the left side, after that checked the
"Ashley Express Items" and click on the "Search". after that you will find the "Export to Excel" link on the left side.

I want that file through scraping.

Hi,

I ran into a problem with a site that redirects to a page that states that I need to access the site with MSIE, FF or IE. SS Proxy access works just fine, but when I try to access the site via a scrape - no show. I did test with the various options for cookie policies, but to no success.

Familiar for someone?

I have been recieving the following error message when attempting to export my scraping session files to my repo and I can't figure out why. I can work around it by coping the scrapeable files out of the scraping session to a new one, and then deleting the old one and renaming the new one to be exactly the same as the old one and then it exports fine. Would love to not have to bother with this almost every time i need to export a scraping session. The error message i get when i try without doing the above is: An error occurred while exporting this scraping session.

When using my proxy session it errors every time - there is no message, just 'error' in the status field on the progress tab and the page fails to load in a browser. I have tried this on a few http: sites and no luck. I have tried at work and at home in case there are some odd (new) network settings and there are none. The ss program itself works well otherwise?

I would be grateful on any thoughts you may have, as I have a site http://www.machinefinder.uk/ww/en-UK/categories/tractors-by-horsepower-200-plus that I need the proxy for, (it may well be too trick for me in any case....)
