screen-scraper public support

Hi
I am using Screen Scraper basic edition on Windows XP.
I need to invoke the "Scraping Session" from a external Java application.
I beleive this cane be done when running the same via "Server Mode."

Can we run SS Basic edition on Server mode..if that needs to be done how should I do it...

Any help is most appreciated.

I've been trying to install the screen scraper server on a new linux server using this tar ball:

http://www.screen-scraper.com/install/professional/lin/ss_pro_lin.tgz

I am simply trying to loop through some pages based on url, ie: site.com/?page=1 through site.com/?page=50

here is the code i am using
For i=5050 to 5060
Set RunnableScrapingSession = CreateBean("com.screenscraper.scraper.RunnableScrapingSession", "idrink.com")
Call RunnableScrapingSession.SetVariable("PAGE", i)
Call RunnableScrapingSession.Scrape
Next

for some reason, in the for loop, SetVariable doesn't recognize "i" and it is not passed to the url parameter.

any ideas?

As the log saying :Sorry, tidying HTML failed. Returning the original HTML.
I can't get wanted information from the scraped file .
That is, the variable which i set in the start scripts doesn't work,so i can't get the correct information from the scrapeble file .
Seems like that the scrapeble file which i extract information from is the one that i genarated the first time!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a script that runs beautifully in the workbench but when I try to run it on the server I get the msg below in my error.log.

An unexpected error occurred. The error was: null
java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.screenscraper.scraper.RemoteScrapingSessionCommand.equals(RemoteScrapingSessionCommand.java:146)
at com.screenscraper.scraper.RemoteScrapingSessionHandler.run(RemoteScrapingSessionHandler.java:176)

I am running the last part of the second tutorial, trying to get the asp to run.

This first line of code runs:
Set objRemoteSession = Server.CreateObject("Screenscraper.RemoteScrapingSession")

The second line of code:
Call objRemoteSession.Initialize("Hello World")
returns the following error:
java.lang.NullPointerException

The server is running, and the prior tutorial steps have worked perfectly.

Also, FWIW, I don't see an icon in the tray when the server is running.
