Problems with Website using Javascript
Hi,
I have been sucessfully scraping a website for some time now, but recently I get a message of the "Javascript has to turned on..." type. Now, I know that SS does not run JS and therefore I have started to analyse what is going on "behind the curtains". There are several JSs that are sent as responses and calculate cookies and so on. I am now busy trying to emulate all this, using JS SS-scripts. So far w/o success.
What I don't understand: when I turn off JS in MSIE and try to access "www.bazar.at", I IMMEDIATELY get the error message. How can the site determine that JS is off without sending its initial response, that I should see?
In the same line of thought: While debugging my scrape, I obvisously run into the above error message from time to time and SS is blocked from scraping "www.bazar.at" for a while. At the same time MSIE (with JS on) can access the site w/o problem? How does the site distinguish between these two attemps to access?
I have been on this for a while now, but I seem to run out of ideas what to do. HELP!!!
best regards
